Now that you're here in my living room, just what is it you want?

This site is in memory of Vaughn Bode - Artist / Humourist with few peers!
From 1987 through 1990 I ran a 'bulletin board'. Yup, the old dialup. It was a Fidonet node back then for several years. I ran my board on an Amiga 1000 running BBS-PC in the background (The Amiga was the first consumer OS with Multi-tasking!) Starting out it ran on two 880k floppy drives, a 2400 baud modem (later upgraded with a USRobotics 9600 which I still have in the garage) and 1 meg of ram! Iomega, in a barter, donated a dual 10 meg drive so in the last 2 years I had an amazing 20 megs of files online! Yowsa!

I mention that because my board back then was named The Cheech Wizard/Vaughn Bode Memorial Disk Preserve and was (obviously) dedicated to Vaughn Bode. Now, over 10 years later, much has changed but I still revere Vaughn Bode. Not to mention the National Lampoon magazine of the 1970's. Thise were heady times!
